Playful, personal portraits that reflect life with your dog
There’s a reason your dog’s Gotcha Day still matters, even years later.
It’s the day your routines shifted, joy got louder, and your life made room for muddy paws, morning wiggles, and a love that keeps surprising you.
Remembering that day doesn’t have to be big or formal.
Sometimes it looks like slowing down, letting your dog be themselves, and holding onto what this season feels like right now.
This isn’t about forced poses or perfect smiles.
It’s about the parts of your dog you already know and love — the happy zoomies, the curious head tilt, the way their tail thumps when they’re genuinely pleased, and even the moments they roll their eyes like only your pup can.
Every dog is unique, and every session is shaped around them. Whether your dog is a chill senior, a spirited youngster, or somewhere in between, we’ll follow their lead so your time together feels natural and fun. Think of it as playtime with a camera, tasty treats, and the kinds of moments you’ll look back on with a quiet smile.

The photos that matter most aren’t the perfectly posed ones.
They’re the ones where your dog’s personality comes through naturally — the way they move, the way they look at you, the way joy sneaks in when you’re not trying.
These portraits notice the small things: your laugh just out of frame, a familiar habit, a quiet moment that feels like home. Over time, they become reminders of who your dog is right now — and how this life together began, and keeps unfolding.
Gotcha Day comes once a year, but the feeling of being together lasts far longer.
If remembering your dog in a way that feels joyful, personal, and true sounds right to you, I’d love to help you hold onto this chapter — just as it is.

Do I need to schedule the session on our actual Gotcha Day?
Not at all. Some people choose the exact date, others pick a nearby day that feels easier. What matters most is that it feels meaningful to you.
What if my dog won’t sit still?
That’s completely okay — and expected. This experience is shaped around your dog, whether they’re energetic, curious, cautious, or always on the move. We follow their lead and let the moments happen naturally.
Can I be in a few photos too?
Yes. If you’d like, we can include a handful of images that reflect the connection you share. Nothing stiff or posed — just easy, honest moments.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions happen in familiar, low-stress locations where your dog feels comfortable. We’ll choose a spot that suits their personality and energy.
What should I bring?
A favourite toy, a few treats, and anything that feels like them. I’ll guide you through the rest.
Is this only for rescue dogs?
Gotcha Day means different things to different people. However your dog came into your life, this experience is about remembering the day your lives came together.
